I need to stay awake all night long. At 14:00, I will take electroencephalography (EEG), and I need to sleep with multiple electrodes placed on my scalp.

When I am in a phase of sleep deprivation, I have visual hallucinations. Alfred Bester says in his book The Computer Connection that when you have an epilepsy seizure, you touch the real world with your mind.

Maybe he’s right.
